Next Friday, July 9th at 7pm at St. Stephen’s Church (1525 Newton Street NW)  we’re hosting a panel discussion featuring a DCCC member and three of our partner organizations to talk about the unique challenges and possibilities of working towards social justice in the nation’s capital! the DC Trans Coalition, Empower DC and the Latino Economic Development Corporation will be joining us and YOU in this conversation, so please make sure to come out, bring a couple of bucks to donate,

We are planning a Volunteer Orientation for Saturday, July 24 from 10am-2pm. Our volunteers commit to provide childcare at least 6 times over 12 months and attend additional trainings that we provide.

The DC Childcare Collective, a small all-volunteer group, is founded on the belief that mothers, women of color, and people from low-income backgrounds are critical leaders of healthy social justice movements.

The DC Childcare Collective (DCCC) provides fun and empowering childcare as an act of solidarity with social justice organizations in the DC Metro area in order to make their work more accessible for people with childcare responsibilities.
